I want a 'vette.

Went over to a co-workers house today to check out his new used C5 Corvette. It's a pretty sweet ride! It's 97 model in black. He's got the chrome 5-spoke Corvette wheels for it and already did a brake and tranny upgrade plus the titanium Z06 exhaust. I'm still surprised at how his car and my truck sound so similiar. Anyway, I made the mistake of sitting in it. Even with me being 6'2" and about 250lbs, I was still comfortable in the car. I told myself that I wouldn't get into another Corvette after driving the one on dealership lot when I was buying my truck. Now I have to get the crazy idea of buying one out of my head again.

Yes, they do drive nice too. His has the 3-way suspension adjustment on it.

They're extremely nice. And if you've driven or ridden in a C4, you can attest that the C5 is leaps and bounds ahead of it in every aspect. You almost have to fall into a C4, while you can just slide into a C5. And if you're a bigger guy, you dont have to spend 20 minutes getting out of it again lol. The C5s ive driven have left me nothing short of
'n for hours.

Ive been following 3 corvette forums and it sounds like the c6 is leaps and bounds over the c5, they really did improve/change everything on the car, motor, suspension, body (5" shorter 1" narrower), interior quality etc etc - no doubt the c5's are nice as well though
In a year I may have the chance to decide wether to make my truck a project or get a c6....will be a tough desicion.
