This is what I dont understand about DTW, If someone in the Hemi section post that he has been killed they automatically move it to the general discussion. Take for example the thread, Tahoe beat my Hemi. 2 days ago it was in the Hemi forum then for some unknown reason they move it? It was Hemi affiliated but why would they move it? Was it becasue it was a post made by a dodge owner that admitted on getting beat in his truck? I bet Hockey737 didnt get banned, am I banned for life? They didnt even send me a e mail stating what they did and why. Would some get a link and ride that little biatches ***.

Anything to do with racing is moved to the general topics forums for reasons unknown. I suspect that they do not want to encourage street racing or legal racing. Its really a kind of lollipops and bubblegum over there.

DTW is worse then ALL the ricer sites combined. Don't know why you guys would even waste your time over there.

 

I just can't get over how thick SOME of their heads are. Some of the guys were cool about it, but some were lil' bitches. A lot of those Dodge boys think the HEMI is "GOD". Get a grip! That thing is WAAAYY overrated. One of the local guys around here owns a dodge with a hemi and has a lot of probs with it. Went thru 2 pcm's. And that one guy kept rattling on about his 360. That's junk! He needs to get out a bit more and check out the modern day vehicles. A 360 couldn't hang with a 325 if it was on a tube chassis with a fiberglass body. And it has 35 more cu. in.

 

i just read that whole post where onequickchevy got booted. first of all, fellas don't waste your time trying to educate them folks over there. they don't want it. you could do a better job of convincing a dog that it's a cat. secondly, haven't you figured out, that the first time you argue times with anyone on that site they throw up the i'm not modded flag so it has to be stock vs stock. to me, that is a cop out. i have said it before and i'll say it again, if i lose i lose, if i win i win. no matter how it happens, i entered into the race knowing there was a 50/50 chance either could happen.

 

I think the whole site is meaningless. A truck site that is agianst any type of racing, even legal track racing, so all they do is talk about their truck and how much they like them, then their egos get hudge and all the sudden their trucks run with vettes and supercharged GT's (I remember that one B.S.). I thought it was funney when Hockey said he pulled on a 96 chevy 5.7, duh, those motors were terrible on performace. Torque was good but no horsepower. Of course he didnt say nothing about the 5.7 vortec cause he knew his *** would get handed to him. And how did he know it was a 5.7 that he was racing. It could have been a 305. Someone link this thread over general discussion at DTW so I can give a big to hockey.

 

true. it could have been a 305. that guy was an idiot tho. i'll take any vortec 5.7L over a 360 any day of the week!
