Default as i predicted, dodge is paying attention to us

http://dtw.truckmoxie.com/forums/topic.ten?id=72176 here you will see the post of one of ours beating a hemi, and then you will see their response. mighty 4.8 with mods is too much to bear i supose. oh yea, the hemi had passengers and weighs about a ton more. thats why the 4.8 really won.

Its always something. Kinda like when you beat a Mustang. Driver implies hes only running on 7 cylinders or some other excuse....

whitt1, you have the perfect srt killer. a tahoe. most people i imagine try to sluff you off and then you whip their butts. i bet that is great.

greg, if you spend any amount of time over on that site, all you read is my hemi is doing this weird thing or this is broke. or no way a stock 5.3 can beat a hemi. well, i am not stock, but i still don't think i put down the numbers that a hemi is supposed to and i have won against several single cabs and quad cabs. and not just by edging them out either.

I can't find any on the street that doesn't have some old fart in a button-up shirt, tie optional, driving. I haven't seen any at the track either.

i have only seen i think one or two at the track. the ones i see around here have some older guys driving them that look the other way when i get next to them. not saying my truck looks intimidating or anything but i want a few more runs against them. win or lose, it doesn't matter to me.

well its sad when you race truck that dyno's well under 345 hp and it still beats you, even with all the bolt-ons. i mean give me a break. i cant really even mess with the camaros around here and there only putting out 315-325 hp stock. so i know with all my bolt-ons im at or around 300 hp at the fly wheel. now dodge is preaching that the hemi is putting out 345 hp at the fly wheel, that's got to be one hellicious drive train loss that they are experiancing. and im still putting about a truck and a half on the guys when i run them, and i have that lowly 4.8L
screw'em if they cant take an a$$ whoopin, like a big boy.
suck it up and admit you got your a$$ handed to you, i have several times.
by diffrent types of vehicles. you win some you lose some.
