The fluid is comming from somewhere way up front.
I have zero fluid buildup or dripping from the front crossmember back.
I'm going to degrease the crud that is there and check it again to hopefully see where it starting at.
Thanks for the input everyone.

Just so you know coolant fluid is sweet to the taste... so if its well, icky, its shouldnt be coolant.

ya i was about to say.. just taste it.. it wont kill ya (or give you an *** leak).

check and make sure that peacock vavle is closed, the one that you unscrew to drain your radiator fluid.. make sure its closed.. bc with that leaking that will actually run the cross member and leak weird like you described.

I did smell it, but tasting it is a little beyond what I'm willing to do for this bitch!!
We are talking about my truck right?!?

Really it did not smell like coolant. I took a dip into the overflow resevoir just to compare the dripped fluid and it was not the same.
After I wiped all the crap down late last night it has not dripped since.
I'm starting to think my truck just needs more love than I have time to give to her.

Can I use any more smilies in this one?? OK one more.......

Well, ok how about stick something in your radiator to pull out a little fluid and try to see if its even the same color.

Hell, see if the dog will lick it up, if he likes it its antifreeze.

Sounds like your blinker fluid is leaking out.
