Default i dont know what to do????????????????

Im not sure as why the truck isnt made the 12's yet, maybe the damn LS1 intake manifold or maybe because i didnt have a CAI i had this

but a local is gonna sell me his nitrous kit with 2 bottles for around $300-$350 if i want it. but i really would like to break into the 12's before nitrous. so im thinking of either a truck intake or LS6 intake since they both outperform the LS1 intake. last time out i didnt have that good of weather but managed a 13.21 with a 1.89/60' which i still think should be better with a damn 3800 converter, but if the MAF was heatsoaking and plus breathing hot air i know it wasnt performing very good. so what should i be looking at gaining with this

Are you spinning off the line? With a 3800 converter i'd be looking for around 1.70(or lower) 60s...not almost 1.90s. You should def. see atleast a high 12 pass...but on another note you can hook up the nitrous and probably see 11s no problem.

I'd think with the MAF not being so hot anymore it could be tuned to run better. Throttle bodies get pretty hot as it is, I wouldn't want my MAF so close to it

well it was tuned the way it was in the first pic and with around 145* -150* intake temp through the MAF with i think a commanded 30* timming. It felt alot better with just the stock intake on there and feels a little bit better with the CAI on there, but also still feels like mabye the manifold or tune one is holding it back in the 5000 and above RPMs

Holy crap!! What was the temp outside at the time? The highest mine has ever been was 120-130* when it was 107* outside and that was after my truck sat in the sun for like 3 hours...

TX had that 12.4x pass with very good weather and i had shitty weather with the 13.2x but something is very wrong and hopefully the intake fixed it for me if not maybe the tune needs to be worked a little!!!!! i dont think the LS1 intake is holding back that bad
