Well who put the drop in for you? I can tell you it's been like that awhile and is nothing new when you see the rust around where it's cracked. I'm thinking this happened from the installers joyriding it or something and bottoming it out more than you'd care to know. That is, unless you did. Ever jump railroad tracks?

no, this happened when i was driving the truck, and yes, i been riding it like this for a couple of months now. it started makin the noise very softly, only over very rough roads and big bumpbs, and over time it got louder and louder. now it makes it when i go up my driveway.... so yeah, time to get it replaced

well, i went to the dealership a while back, and the douche bag guy said that since i lowered my truck and messed with the suspension anything that was suspension related was not covered. so i might try another dealer see if they are nicer since they are goin out of business.
