do some weight reduction. take off the tailgate, spare tire, seats, etc... the list could get even more crazy if you took out some carpeting, speakers, radio, then you will be able to go faster.

by this time, your parents will be upset when they see your truck all apart. then that would be the perfect time to convince them on getting some bolt ons

Before I had a cc I used to send postal money orders for mods. Even had them shipped to a friends house and I would install them at my buddies garage. There always ways around.

I worked the efficiency angle on moms for the shift kit. Told her my boat weighs too much to keep towing with the stock trans setup...lol

How do you do that? If I could do that, I could get a bunch of stuff. Too bad I couldn't do everthing on my own.

do what i did when i was younger. just come home with it. dont say anything about it until they notice it, and when they do notice, just be like oh yeah...i thought i told you? start small. me and my dad went through a few shitstorms a while back now he dosent care. i do expect some lip from him when i show up for a weekend home from college with my exhaust ill just be like shut the F*&# up B!7$# and get out of my face. . then i expect to catch the strong side of his pimp hand !! not really, i wouldnt say that. hell get over it quick.

are you paying for the truck or is it your dads? my method works better if your the one buying the truck. ive been buying my own trucks since i was 15 and they still gave me crap.

I would have, if I had money. That's why I need a job so badly.

You should be thankful that you have a nice truck to drive. I never even had a vehicle until I was in college and even then it was just a hatchback with 68hp!

I agree. I went behind their backs when I bought my CAI and some appearance things. I had to listen to crap for weeks. They do pay my gas and insurance right now, but I did use my own money to buy the mods. That's when my dad told me that because of me going behind their backs, I was going to have to pay for most all future mods. Granted he's agreed to help me pay half on a cam and supercharging. I'm gonna have to pay for anything else after that.
