I've got a 1968 Buick Skylark I'd LOVE to do the same thing to, can you give me an estimate on the total cost of that swap ????....brakes and everything

Costs will vary as most of what i did was fabricated myself and labor was provided free by myself and my best friend.
The car iself was a number matching 283/powerglide which you can see from the pictures was in excellent contition worth about $15k
The paint and prep was around $10k
About $10k in brakes, suspension, rear end work, motor and transmission. That number is still pretty low as I got many "hook-ups" though out the build.
New interior was $2-3k
Labor .. lol who knows ... about 11 months of weekends and holidays.

i have a 65 going to get the body done soon and a ls1 chillin, what alternator bracket is that on that 66? that car is ******* righteous..
