Default HVAC Mode actuator

It started with no a/c, so I tracked down the bad blend door actuator and it happen to be the mode actuator. Right under the driver side. Probably the worst one to get to in my opinion. On top of that you have 2 gears to position in order for proper operation(obviously not). After all said and done it all works with the exception that it blows through the vents while on defrost and defrost while on the vents. I'm sure it's a simple fix, but before I go waste more time making sure it's all positioned correctly I would like some feedback. Anyone have this problem. I heard tech II scan tool will re-calibrate but I'm not gonna attack that till I'm sure. Thanks in advance!!

I don't know what to tell you besides those things are indeed a bitch to replace! I think mine might be off by a tooth...

Very true. I have literally sat there going W*F is going on here. And it's funny cause you have those people who get into your truck and put the a/c on what they think is best and get confused hahahaha!
