That can happen with any GM IFS truck Hummer or not.I did that in a 96 2500HD 4x4 about 5 years ago.$800.00 and several hours later I was back on the road.That is one of the reason I'm not a big fan of IFS.A solid axle would have went up and over without drama.

Yeah, but still what weak tie rods, he was barely spinning those tires. I didn't see any major trama to the system for it to break like that. I would be pissed on how much they hype up that truck for how tuff it is supposed to be.
