How to track down a vacuum leak...
#21
I've been fighting a vacuum/tune issue ever since my nnbs intake swap and new cam. I did find my cai was leaking and a leaking exhaust gasket. It does right on some days and then somedays it will totally screw up. Swapping from bank to bank pegging out fuel trims.

Looks like it was a messed up O2 after all... what the hell are the odds that it goes bad while I'm doing a head swap. What a pain in the ***.
Glad I got this all behind me though. The tune is almost dialed in. Truck feels strong.

Even in the summer heat I'm showing 0-80 in about 8.8-8.9 seconds. Thats carrying more weight, and much worse weather than my best 1/8 mile runs, which werent quite that quick on my logs but right on the money for what the track was telling me. All things considered and being equal with only the heads being different I'd say they were worth .3-.5 It's really hard to judge though.
