I feel like I jacked this thread, but if you mean me, then yes. The above is an old pic. Here is how it is now, solid as a rock

Ok lol, I was curious.

I will let you guys know soon.
It certainly is true. I can feel a difference between driving somewhere and parking it, and then coming back an hour later. Sometimes its a pig.

If you're trying to use acceleration as a way to gauge aerodynamics, you just have to make sure everything else remains the same. Heatsoak and probably several other things will come into play otherwise.

A better test would be injector pulse width or throttle position at high speeds at a steady speed.

I vote wind tunnel. I'm sure you've spent your fair share of time in a wind tunnel haven't you, Richard?

Eh, mainly a supersonic tunnel, which I dont think a truck would like too much

We don't know that yet.

LOL.

I thought about the injector pulse width and TPS at steady high speed while I was driving to work an hour ago, I will try two tests and try to compare, give me a few days and ill have some data if all goes well

Now for some reason, since all the coolers are built into the radiator, and im guessing the coolant is what cools, or heats the transmission fluid, transmission temps will stay above coolant temps unless im cruising on the highway with the converter locked, if the converter is unlocked it will rise and its obvious looking at the logs that its pulling the coolant temps up with it.

When the transmission temps are low, coolant temps never go above 85ish celcius, but as soon as the transmission temps go up, so does coolant in that order. I will make sure though by adding an external transmission cooler and disconnecting it from the radiator. I dont need to pre-heat the transmission fluid by routing it to the radiator since the weather is usually HOT in this part of the world
