Default How much nitrous is safe?

I recently put an lq9 on my 01 rcsb silverado. I purchased a nitrous kit and was wondering how much is safe for it? It's all stock no upgrades at all. Hope some one can help.... Oh and the jets say 53/32 I was wondering how much is that? Thanx guys

Even a little nitrous might not be safe unless done right. You really need a wide band to monitor air/fuel ratio.

I have a 08 Silverado 6.0 swap full bolt on and cam running a 150 shot. Runs like a raped ape. Im wanting to do a 175 but still talking the owner into it. I wouldn't be afraid to hit these trucks with a 200 shot with the right tune.

Ive ran 150 thru mine quite a few times. (went from a 15.2@96 2.4 60' to a 13.1@106 2.0 60' on 150 shot, spraying from about 20mph on my all terrains)

Tuned a 1999 4.8 with 300k miles on it for a 250 shot and he went thru about 50 bottles before he sold it. Wanna talk about waking something up! it went from a 9.5 at our 500' track to a 7.0.
he sold the truck and the new owner is still doin 250 shot. but the transmission finally bit the dust.
