how much gas does your tahoe drink??

hmmm..wifey has an 01 tahoe. it gets about an average of 18. could be your driving style. do you dd alot of jackrabbit starts. when i haul *** like that in my truck it drinks like hell.

i don't but the wife tends to. but my highway mileage should be better i think. its hard to screw up highway mileage. i think i just need the turbo on.

I say a good part of it is the AWD and its added drag on the drivetrain.

that too. but don't the hummers get like 13 highway i should get better than them. i wonder if 4.10's would help any.

I get 11mpg if I'm nice to her, 8mpg if I'm not

Thats why I told the wife I'm getting a ZO6 for a daily driver

Same here in the city. I normally stay in the 8-9 range.

On the highway, if I try, I can see up to 20mpg cruising at 70mph.

edit... 3.73's and 28" tire

shoot i get about 10 around the city and do pretty well with about 16-17 on the highway doing 70mph... i also have 33's with 3.42's so my gearing is KILLING me

islowhoe and 91 bowtie you two make me feel better lol. i still think i need to change the plugs. anybody know when a good time is to change wire though?
