dude do a 6.0 while ur at it unless that 5.3 is ULTRA low miles and at a steal.

at any rate my entire swap was approx $1200, thats with honing the cylinder walls on the first block, swapping blocks, picking up heads, trans, DS, and swap. And approximately 32 ish hrs of mine and a couple of friends' time. overall, good experience if you have a weekend to set aside

after thinkin about it i might as well do a 6.0 swap.. i had planned on doin a cam swap on my lil 4.8 with kinda high miles whenever i can get a 6.0 for a couple more hundred bucks.. ive seen some on craigslist here in houston for as low as 600-700$$, jus gonna have to play the waiting game now.

Well damn, all you guys chippin in for places to have a motor swap. I want somebody to swap my 4.3 for another 4.3. lol
