How much does a 170-190 lb passenger and windows rolled down effect 1/4 time?

windows down = wind drag! It will impare your ET a bit.
Every 100lbs = a 10th of a second.

first of all, they don't let you run the 1/4 mi with your windows down
rule of thumb, every 100lbs. shed off will net you 1/10 drop in et.

I looked it up once, and I think that my crew cab is about 800 lbs. heavier than an RCSB. I'll probably still give it a try at the track, just for the hell of it.

Drop the spare, take the tailgate and tool box off and I could probably shed 200 lbs. pretty easily. If you're really trying to lose the weight with easily reversable mods, lose the jack and passenger seats too.

Don't forget to fold the mirrors in too!

I see people pulling in their mirrors, but I seriously doubt there is much of a difference with them out.
