Default How Much $$$$

What do you guys think the going rate is for true duals install on my truck. They will put on 1 more muffler and a xpipe. currently I am running a single 3 inch setup and will be going with 2.5 true duals with 2 1 chambers and 2.5 xpipe. let me know I am getttig this done Saturday. thanks

I had my own mufflers and went true duals cost $50 another $60 for X-pipe install

If you're looking for power, you're going to lose most of the bottomend power to about 3500rpm I'd say with a basically stock motor. 2.5" duals are too large... 2.25" are what I'd do with true duals on a 4.8 and 5.3.

I'd budget $175-250 or so for all the work to be done. That's with tailpipes, extra muffler, etc.

ok, stock size piping is 2.5 off the headers(I measured), I am thinking about $225, I have the x pipe already and only need the piping to make it true duals and 1 muffler. in the next couple of months hopefully sooner I will get a tune and headers. after that electric fans and then hopefully dop in a 6.0 or a 408 depends on how well and when I receive my new position in the company.

I got my true dual/w H pipe exhaust done in my 01 Sierra for $300. This included 2 magnaflow mufflers.

Just curious if you had any pics of your exhaust. I'd like to see the H-pipe on there.

Yeah i planned on the X-pipe too. I keep hearing that you need equal length pipes though, which i wouldn't have. Maybe this doesn't matter though, i dunno.

before you had the one chamber i told you it would be $250 just for true duals. just lesson to me.
