Also, I found out that they stopped that option on the 06's.

Probably after some 2500HD owners with the 6.0 had a heart attack after seeing what that joker sucks going up a hill pulling 5klbs.

so they stoped that option then started it agian in 07? why would they do that?

Cause its GM.... They're a little retarded sometimes....
I noticed it first when I drove my cousin's 06 silverado and it didn't have that option, but my 03 sierra does.... Its kinda stupid that they would go through the trouble of deleting a useful feature for no good reason....

It might be something that the GMC's have and not the Chevy's, you know how that goes......

So what I get from this is, if I put gauges out of a SSS in my 05 Z, the trans temp gauge in the cluster will already be wired in my truck?????? Si/No, or am I just confused????

I'm pretty sure that is the case.... I read somewhere that all these trucks have the whole trans temp circuit there. I guess gm excluded the gauge from the clusters of the lower-end trucks to save about 5 bucks per truck built, or maybe to trick people into thinking that the higher-end trucks are actually better-equipped than the lesser trucks...
