How long till the Standard Cabs get 6-speed trans?

Ya, I believe it's AGS or ATS. Just wonderin if u had new info to add to the mix. Last I knew, it was "still in development". STILL..
On a side note, I see your winning the post count. Bill's still faster. And more helpful...

I emailed then about it last month and this was the responce as of Nov 28, 2008...


"Kyle,
We are still working on the 6L80e controller. The problems we are running into will cause big problems on higher horsepower installations. Without torque management the transmission has serious problems shifting. We are working on some programming changes for the TCM in the transmission to correct this issue. At this time we don't have an estimated completion date.

That's it. I knew I was close & it had 3 letters that ended w/ an S.

I have torque management turned off on mine and it seems to shift fine. I guess I'm not high horsepower enough.
