Default How fast are 03+ CCSBs W/ 5.3L?

I was coming home from work a few days back, and someone in a CCSB was driving kinda' agressive up ahead of me. So I passed him to get his attention, and he went wot and passed me, but the light up ahead changed before he made it and I pulled up next to him. Turns out it was some kid my age and we both just nodded at each other, and waited for the light to change. I wasn't sure if he was going to go or not, so when the light went green, I just rolled out untill I realized he went wot. Be the time I got on it he had about 1-1 1/2 cars on me and I didn't catch him untill about 60 mph. From then on to about 95 mph, I pulled about 3-4 cars on him with me pulling pretty hard. He got over into my lane behind me, and I moved over so we could talk. First thing he asked me was what I had done, so I told him my mods and said I have a 5.3L. He said his was a 5.3L too with just a "chip", but he had an exhaust he wasn't telling me about too (I could hear it). He also thought I had a v6 at first lol, but anyway either that lauch killed me, or he has alot more than just a chip and exhaust. What do they run stock? My mods should put me in the high to mid 14s (I hope).

I had mine running low 14's would have been in the 13's in cooler weather. But I had a lot done to it too. I have no idea what it ran stock.

Mid 16s with 3.42 gears 400lb tool box, two 12" subs, dual batteries, and 88 degree weather with 90 percent humdity, I'd say 15s with 4.10s and good weather.
