I locked my tq conv. in 3rd also. I doubt they will let me do it again unless I have shorter tires. They did not like when the tires distorted like Parish's tires in one of his videos.

I've been wondering this too, for when I get ready to dyno mine the 1st time. This can't be done with the stock converter can it? If not than how do I run my truck on the dyno when I take it?

When I did my dyno runs at the Dyno Store, Jeff locked the converter with HPT, and did the runs in 3rd gear. He also monitored knock retard with HPT. I think that is the only real correct way to do it. I've also had it done in second gear, with no lock-up on a mobile set-up.

Yeah, you gotta use some sort of tuning software.

Would running it with the tow/haul button pushed work?

Never thought of that! I'm always thinking the Tow/Haul only does the shift points, but it does do more, like the converter.
