How do I remove the door panel on a 2005 sierra? My dad has tried eveything and it wont come off. He does not want to pull it hard because he is afraid of breaking it. Anybody have the instructions?

Should be 4 10mm screws, one on verry bottom, one on the arm rest, 2 behind the piece that goes around the door handle if i remember correctly and then you just pull up on it..

you dont' need to take the one on ther very bottom out, it just holds the plastic pocket in. You have to pull up the swtich panels, remove the trim around the handle and remove the sail panel

On the '05 you pull the caps on both sides and the screws behind them. Pull the cover around the handle and the lock. Pull those screws. Lift the panel up and unsnap the 3 wire harnesses. Done. DO NOT PULL UP ON THE LOCK/WINDOW CONTROL PANEL, IT STAYS WIT THE PANEL ON THE '05.... if you do you will mess up the door panel permanently, ask me I almost made that mistake.

there's a little bolt under the armrest = 10mm that you unscrew and take out
then you take a flathead and take off the little cover around the door handle
use the same flathead to remove the door lock indicator
then just pull up on the panel to unsnap it from the holders

what are you trying to do?
