I can feel everyone on being young and trying to play with the big boys. I started working when I was 13 years old. By the summer before freshman year of high school I was working 35-40 hours a week at my families company. I worked 40 hrs a week all through high school and about 60hrs/week in the summer. It sucks now that I am at school and dont really have anytime to work.
Now Im not going to lie and say that my parents havnt helped me out. My dad loves the truck and he has helped my with all the big buildups, but I pay them back. You have to sacrifice things to have a fast ride.
And like how greentahoe said: INVEST!!!! I have been investing since I was 15. I know it sucks giving your money to someone and they tell you "You will thank me in 40 years" but it is worth it. You dont have to invest huge money. Every little bit helps
