Default houston safe and clear program

so what do you guys think? any here affected by it? i heard of a guy the other day fending off a tow truck driver with a crowbar while trying to fix his flat. who else thinks this program needs a bit more planning. like, i dunno, maybe for $20 to take me to the nearest gas station or parking lot. but $75 to take my car to the impound and then whatever it costs to get it out...what a crock!!

horrible plan that was not properly thought out at all
I'm sure the city is getting a nice kickback or maybe even money up front for contracts with the towing companies.

Search the Texas section on this. It has already been under heavy discussion.

i think it sucks, so far it only hurts people that are to poor to aford the charge for the tow,
i think it should be kind of like it was before, the tow truck driver can not touch it until a cop puts an orange tag on with the time and date.
it's not right for them to just pull up and hook up to it.
need to be on the inde pit crew for the little time your given to change a flat.
