Hotchkis versus DjM
#1
I am looking into the hotchkis 2/4 kit. I would like to know what others out there think of the kit versus the others like dJm and belltech I Use the truck to carry dirtbikes and four-wheelers on the weekend so I need something to handel the weight but still want great handeling for the corners.
I would like to know there is any suggestions for better performance over just buying the kits is there any thing I can do better so that the out come is better.

Stay away from the belltech spindles. I had them on my truck and they sucked,They have steering stops the cut down about 20% of your turning radius. You also have to cut the inner tie rods to get enough toe in. From what I've seen if I had to get another kit it would be the hotchkis.

The rear leaf pack includes an overload spring just like stock to maintain your stock towing capacity. The front coils are progressive rate which basically stiffen up the more they are comprssed. I bought mine direct from Hotchkis. I don't have thier sway bars yet but I will eventually. The ride is awesome and the handling is even better. I have had no tire wear problems either. The Hotchkis kit maintains your stock geometery.
