I used the rubber hose from the factory lines to the 40k cooler and they have been working fine for 2+ years

I went with braided hose mostly for ease of instalation. I bypassed the radiator, and the braided hose made it work nicely.

Personally for ease of installation and a permanent no fear of hose failure installation, I too liked the TruCool installation kit from EAD (Time2Kill) that included the brackets and couplings to allow the use of the factory hard lines.

I can move it where I want to, Dont have to worry about leaks between the factory lines and the rubber hose that trucool supplies. And I wanted to bypass the radiator so the braided lines made that easier.

I used a U.S high pressure rated synthetic rubber hose for it, working all fine with no leaks.
