not muffled like that....muffled like all you can hear is air....but the wind isn't blowing. like it needs some kind of sound filter or something.

Was it recorded outside while moving? Lot's of things can make the sound crappy. It doesn't help that the camera's mics aren't that good to begin with either.

It also depends on what you used to compress the clip. Some editors over compress the audio making it sound like that. The program we had in the lab at school was bad about doing that.
