Default high and low head light switch

Would you guys like it better if when you put your high beams on, your low beams come as well. My buddy sells these swtiches and i was thinking about trying one. Do you think it would get to hot for the plastic around the light? I know when i have held the them both on it make night and day difference.

I would like to, but a friend here in FL did the Hi-4 style conversion on his '97 and got pulled over and ticketed for having too many lights on the front of his vehicle. Sometimes ya have to wonder about this great state!

I tried one on the S-10 I had before this truck and it didn't work with the drl's. The low beams came on really dim and the day time lights didn't work

i agree there is a big difference and normaly i just pull the switch in to right before it clicks and both come on but you have to hold it there. get one and drive around with your brights on for like 30 min and let us know if it messes the housing up. dont they cost like around 20$ correct me if im wrong but i remember seeing them in jcwhitney. i would buy one
