Man I run a 16" bias ply at the track with skinnys and the sway on the big end some times is a hand full I would never run it on the street especially on a truck or recommend it to any one for street use

My 18" nittos on my car I can hook in 2nd (40/45mph) and with throttle control I can get out of the hole decent, I know my car is only 599/600 but it's much lighter then the truck so it's kinda a wash, my car climbs to 150mph fairly quick and it's stable with 15" wheels and 29" tall tire no way in the world would it be stable! If rather give up some traction for stability

yea and if you go smaller than 29" it looks kinda odd.

The street tires on my truck are a 305/45/18 MT ET Street (discontinued style). I have also used Nitto NT05R and 555R in the same size. The MT's are the best hooking of the three, wear fast and are manageable in the rain. 555R are the best wearing and ok in the rain but traction is marginally better than a good street radial. NT05R have good traction, wear ok but are horrible in the rain. I wish MT would make the new S/S radial in 305/45/18 but only offer the ET Street R which would hook great but not have any wet manners.

I run 17" rims since I wasn't ready to drop down to 15" rears just yet either. I run a 275/50 M&H drag radial on the street

Yea sticky tires dont last on the street. You gotta pay to play. I daily drove mine on a 295/65r15 et street ss and loved it. Stable as hell and hooked way better than any other tire ive had. Also ran at the track and they do damn good.

How do you like the mt ss in 20? Do they do well on the street?
