High hp tire setup for street

so let me get this straight. you want:
1) cheap
2) great traction
3) good wear
I've been around this block. you can only pick one.
cheap = no traction
great traction = not cheap or good wear
good wear = not cheap or enough traction for ~750
i've tried just about every tire out there with the same goals as you have... for 18" wheels, your best option is the nitto 555R. the best option is to drop down to a 15" wheel and fit the biggest mickey T et street S/S you can stuff in there. the nitto 555R is a great tire...the Mickey Thompsons are amazing.
so look up above and narrow your wants down to 1 and you have your answer.
