Default HID Conversion

Just wondering who has done a HID conversion on their truck? If so, what brand did you use and are you happy with it? Looking to do this on mine and can't decide on which brand. Only thing I know for sure is I will be going with 6000k bulbs. Thanks

I got my kit from xenonking.com. Good people over there. It costs a little more but screw it. I got the 12,000K kit. Installed in about 30 mins. No cutting or anything. I love them. Just make sure you mount the ballast in a well ventilated area.

Sylvania Xenarc kits are very nice. They have great light output and they give you a nice clear healight lenses and the ballast is mounted directly on the back of it all you have to do is pull the old headlight out and put the new one in.

They are for 02 and under. You don tneed the housing on the 03s and up cause they are already clear. The housing on the 99-02 models have light refractors in them and f'up the light pattern with the HID's.

What he said. Just pop the bulb in as you would with normal lights. No modding required.

Just make dam sure you get a Hella or Phillips ballast in the kit. You do not want the kits that have external ignitors!!! Keep that in mind or you will regret it.
