Default Hemi777 ran a 13.71 with < $100 in mods.

If it's true, my respects to his Hemi.

Yeah I spent some time over there tonight reading to see what the Dodge boys are up to...

Seems what I told you guys is happening...it looks like the aftermarket is catching up with those trucks finally, aside from tuning. Apparently there are many 'a long tube headers that add solid gains, typical air intakes, I think I saw an underdrive pulley set, among other stuff.

Before all the bullshit flame wars start again...it's not like our trucks are super fast by anymeans stock or don't have BS problems in stock form. Sure we clown on their trannies (46RE mostly) but man the 4L60E ain't a good box stock either...it breaks easily and shifts poor stock. We have SEVERE tuning problems also. The Hemi powered trucks with 20" wheels are way undergeared (3.92:1 is lowest you can get) also...like how pretty much all GM trucks come with 3.73:1 (even Z71s), yeah you can option for 4.10:1 if you ORDER one but most of us scoop one up new off a lot. Stuff is built halfassed and to break for a reason...to drive the aftermarket and new vehicle sales. Just realize that going into it.

why cant chevy just put all of its great options in a reg cab truck like Ford and Dodge have done? Over time it gets more agrivating! Every new model year i wait and see if they are going to offer a reg cab with the 345hp 6.0. And every year nothing. It took me lots of mods and even more money to get to 13.7 on motor, and this guy did it with ease.

Thats it im buying a Hemi!!!! J/K

WOW thats awsome. The 99 mph trap speed ought to put the argument, that the Hemi's horsepower is overated to rest. Thats crazy trap speed for a full size truck, and his mods. Props to Hemi777.

i am not calling BS, i dont really know much about those trucks but dont most of them run in the 15's stock? are there any other guys running times like that with limited mods like that guy?

if it is true i am impresed, some slicks and a 100shot and he could be in our top 10 list

It's great to go to a forum and see brand X respected, it speaks to the maturity of the group.
