Default HELP! why does this thing spudder mis?

well a while ago i had to put a new motor in my truck it was a 01 5.3 78K on it. when i got it all up and running i had a mis when i would drive it. sometimes it would happen at 4500 + and some times it would do it right off the line. i thought it was my spark plug wires because i checked them and 3 were broke inside. they were old anyways and have been removed many times. anyways i got new wires and put them on today. check engine light is on which came on b4 the new wires were swapped but after about 20miles of driving it. now it still spudders and i sorta think it got worse. anyone got any idea on what it is? i checked all the electrical plugs i could see and all the spark plug wires everything is plugged in.

i am going to take a video of it for everyone to watch

Sorry. Blame thunder550.

What was the code? If it keeps getting worse, it's an electrical deal just deteriating more and more or the pcm is making adjustments that it doesn't need to (yep o2 sensors). Post up the code. If you don't have a way of getting it go to a autozone and they'll pull it for free.

well i just got back i pulled out on the main road and i thought i was going to get smashed. no power just kept spuddering. i did a loop back then another one to go back home and as i took off from the 2nd loop back it died. i pulled up on the sholder and was able to make it onto my road. i had to get my ranger to tow it back to my driveway. it wont start almost sounds like it has no fuel or something. well post a video in a little bit my main computer is makeing a DVD right now so i can load my video camara onto it.

im going to run to autozone and see if they will let me borow their little thingy.

ok i got the tester thing i had a coolent temp light and a crank position sensor. i erased the codes and tried to start it again. it fired up i let it idle no codes no nothing. so i did the same driving loop and it did the same exact thing. only this time i was able to keep it in neutral and coast all the way home. as soon as there is a load it does the spuddering and missing. now its dead with no codes.

WTF

now if i go back in ten minutes it will probably start up and do the same thing.

i hate this Fing truck.
