help need to know alt rating

Default help need to know alt rating

how do i figure out if i have a 145amp or 105 amp alternator? i tried givin the deal my vin number and they still couldn't figure it out. i need to know so i can get a new serp belt cause mine squeaks when wet and its killin me. thanks in advance.

most likely you have a 105 amp.

Look at the alt on the side. Should have really small engraving that states the part number, amperage, and 12v. Mine says 105A and the one I am going to install says 150A(supposed to be 145 amp alternator).
