Default Help me with my RPM math...

Someone confirm these numbers:

4.10 gears
32.0" tire diameter
4L65E with 1.00 3rd gear and 0.7 OD

At 75 MPH, I should see:
2300 RPM in OD and 3250 in 3rd, correct?

And, these numbers hold true regardless of the TC stall rating, assuming the TC is locked up, correct?

Default

32.0" dia = 100.53" travelled per revolution of tire

75 MPH = 396,000 feet/hr = 4,752,000 inches/hr = 79,200 inches/minute

79,200/100.53 = 787.82 RPM at tire

787.82*4.10 = 3,230 RPM at driveshaft

3rd gear at 1:1 = 3,230 RPM

4th gear = 0.70*3,230 = 2,261 RPM

Hope this helps

Mike
