Default Help with buying a new truck

I am thinking of buying a 2005 VHO silverado LT, I was wondering if anyone new what they are going for? I drove by my local dealer today and saw that the price with the employee discount was around 29K is this reasonable? Thanks.

That seems way to high!!! Heres an idea of what GMS pricing should be. Took my buddy to buy an 05 1500 Crew cab sticker was at $31689 it got it for 23K drive out. This was in the begining of the year, too. With no employee discount was even being advertised.Lucky for him a was in car sales and knew my **** he stole that trcuk form them basically. Check out the chevy website they got a nice feature where you can see youremployee discount seems really, really accurate.

I think a VHO should go about 24-25

I found 2 on the chevy website here's the details both same price.

1. 2005 Silver birtch LT VHO: MSRP $33,517 Emloyee: $25,458.54
2. 2005 Blacl LT VHO

I still think you could get it for 26K D.O.

Heres what you do if your are talking cash. Make them an offer first Im thinking 24k TTL and fees included. Remember there is also the GM rebates right now for Silverados in the south region is $3000. The deal is to get the GMS price + rebates remember that. Thats how my buddy got his 05 crew for high 23K and some change with TTL and fees included.

I worked for GM and I know the programm. Those trucks I listed is the invoice price and thats what they are selling them for at invoice. A true emloyee discount is a % under the invoice so you are really only saving a cuople of hundred bucks.

heres an example in Texas.
You have invoice price @ $25,458.54 - $3000rebate = $22,458.54 x Car taxes 6.25%(Texas) $1403 = 23,861+extra miscellenous fees dont worry standard fees. So 24K with TTL and fees included seems to be a great offer. It is really up do the dealer if they do this. They start BS'n and say no and give you another price. But i did deals like deals all the time INVOICE PRICE AND REBATES that always the best way to go. Hope that helps!!!!!

I had planed on going to the dealer early cause I had to go to south florida for a couple days. So, I call the dealer to see if they still had is and asked the sales guy what would be an out the door price and he tells me 32.2K I was like what the F*ck.He would not budge on the price at all. I told him I have cash and could be there as soon as possible. So if anyone could tell me if they know a dealer that would have a VHO, please let me know? I live north of Jacksonville but I am willing to drive or fly as far as texas.
