Question Help! 2003 Silverado with blown 4.8

As the title states,I have a blown 4.8. It broke the front 2 rods. I am guessing the oil pump quit but I was not in the truck when it happened. they said it just quit driving down the highway.
Anyway,I have a 2005 5.3 to go back in it and I am wondering what I need to change over. The flexplate is different but I am thinking I should keep the 5.3 flexplate on it and not change it to the 4.8. It looks like the balancing would be different. I am going to use the 4.8 drive by wire intake even tho they look the same. Anything else I should be concerned about with this swap? Any info would be much appreciated. I was told to bring this question here from the LS1 tech forum. Thank you Jim

Head's to oilpan and balancer to flex plate there is nothing different between the 2..Reuse the intake mani and its a direct swap..
