That's a sick looking Avatar man!
Go with a K&N drop in filter, replace the factory air tube with a better flowing solid plastic unit (don't know a brand to suggest), long tube header, a better cat-back exhaust system, 3.73 gears, stall converter, and a "custom tune" (Nelson tune, Synergy tune, Westers tune, or Wait4Me tune).
Bigger mods would be: cam or cam and heads pkg
Super Charger,
Turbo, or
NO2!
Good luck modding and welcome to Performance Trucks!

Jim

replace the 4.8L with a 6.0L then do a 4L80E swap for the tranny. BTW a 4.10 gear and a tune will net you a 5 tenths gain in the 1/8th miles.

bolt ons will give you nice gains in any GM truck... just do your research and you'll be happy with what you end up with. Welcome

are you thinking about running drag radials every day or something??? kinda what it sounds like. If you do plan on buying new tires OFTEN LOL... track tires make a huge difference over any street tire you can get....
