Default Headers are a b!tch

I swear my truck hates me!

I finally got my headers on, but it took all day! I still can't get the passenger side collecter to seal, and I can't get to the back bolt on the driver side header. Oh well, looks like I'll take it to the local muffler shop tomorrow.

Seems I can't get anything done on this truck! I screwed up the TB Bypass, my cowl hood is bowed in the middle, and now this! I'm tellin you my truck just flat out hates me. Oh well.

yep, same way over here. When I put my rear sway bar on the drivers side tail pipe was installed perfectly right in the damn way of the bracket. So I bolted it up there at an angle and welded that mother together. What the hell, it works.

You probably need an impact (or a long handled ratchet)to get the collector to seal, and I had to use a 1/4" drive to get to that rear bolt on the Driver side.

Well, local muffelr shop got everything situated. Now I have another exhaust leak, but I know where its at, I'll have it fixed later today.

The headers appear to be Gibson's, but I'm not sure. I bought a used cowl hood, headers, and a TB spacer for $400 so I'm not sure.

I appreciate everyone's comments.

Oh, BTW how hard are pulleys to put on?

Easy. Just be sure to rent/borrow a big 3 jaw puller. The small 10 dollar ones just break. Also I used a large strap wrench to hold the ASP pulley while tightening the bolt. The socket I used was a 15/16. I am sure it is meant to be some metric size, but that fits the bolt snugly.

Cars Ive layed my hands on:

my GTO drag car: 5th motor
friends turbo Supra: 3rd motor
evil ex-girlfriend SC civic: 2nd motor
friends SC MR2: 2nd motor

Ya thats a lot of money right there. But its still cheaper and more fun than a good drug addiction so dont give up on the mods. And haveing a mod not want to work with is is no big deal. It happens.
