Default Head light mod done!

Used some extra relays and wired up all the lights to come on when the high beams are on, many guys just use $1 worth of diodes but it just looks hacked up to me.

I don't have a diagram, I find electrical schematics confusing as heck, just make it up as I go. Clean install is a must, especially with electrical.

Nice job.

Ive had the "all on '' mod on my Dmax since it was new.

I wish i could figure out how to keep the fogs to stay on on my 2000.

Are the newer trucks different cuz all I had to do on my 02 was cut and ground 1 wire per light for a 4 hi mod.

I did the same thing. I'm sure the wiring and stuff is different for the newer trucks though.

All I had to do was add 2 relays, and take 3 light connectors apart to add a wire to each, cleaner than hacking up 6 wires. Plus I was looking for a reason to use my riv-nut gun.

Is there a way to do this so that when your headlights arent on and you flash your high beams they dont all turn on, but when you flash your high beams the fogs dont turn off?

I will be getting HID's soon and those dont do well when they get turned on and off quickly. Basically I want it to function exactly like stock, but when I hit the high beams I dont want anything to shut off.

Go to " the diesel place dot com" and search " all on" mod.

Lots of answers and diagrams.

Yes the relays/wiring are different from the 99-02 and the 03 up trucks headlight wise, not sure exactley how , but the all on mod for 03 up wont work on the older trucks. I wish i knew why, just dont have the time at the moment...

99-02 used ground switching on the column stalk to determine HI-LO with one relay to supply power. 03+ used 2 dedicated relays next to each other to control HI-LO.
