Question Has Anyone Removed The Dash Top in 03' & up

How do you remove the dash top cover? Is it hard?
I have this annoying rattle in the dash corner, but it's under the dash. Sounds like a BB tapping against something under there.
Any help would be appreciated.

remove the cluster bezel, and the 2 side fuse covers.... there are 2 phillips head screws on each side, then remove the 2 vents on the pass side, where you will find 2 more screws. Then you can remove the 2 A-arm pillars. in the 2 holes where the vents were, you need to unlock the pull handle with a screwdriver... take the 7mm bolts out of the edge where the cluster bezel goes, then lift, pull, wiggle, and giggle and here it comes!!!! If you need more help let me know

make sure its not your windshield trim. the seal is bad on some trucks which makes a similar noise.

No, its not the windshield trim. I can lift up on the dash corner and the noise gets lighter. This noise happens when you hit bumps, rough roads, or during some highway driving.
My windshield was replaced once, but the noise is not from wind or the trim.
It makes this noise even when driving 5mph.

just watch when you pull the pad up you don't pull the wires out of the sensor in the middle of the dash.

I think I know what it is man!!!!!! Dont take the dash top off yet. Mine was doing the same only when it was cold at the drivers side. If I put pressure on top of the dash right next to the pillar the rattle stopped. Turned out to be a foam rubber seal on the inside of the dash. I could see it in the vicinity of the defrost vent on the side of the dash. Ill charge up my camera and take a picture of what im talking about. I cut a small portion off the seal with a razor and the noise is GONE!!!!

Mine does it all of the time. If I place pressure onto the dash corner, the noise gets louder, but if I pull up on the dash corner, the noise stops.
I'm talking about the driver side corner of the dash close to where it meets the windshield.
