Guys Im back! With new mods and Dodge kills!
Alot happens in 2 weeks. After consideration im going to try and post everyonce in a while on the site.
Now I was pleased with the Diablo tuner but I knew that there was more in my truck. And I wasnt pleased at all when the place were I bought my Diablo said they uped the rates to 170 per hour to dyno tune it. So I contacted Allen and got a custom Nelson tune. IT ROCKS, Allen and his wife are the nicest people I have ever talked to. When I installed it on 1 week ago on Wednesday I thought well its a improvement over the Diablo. Then I started driving it everywhere I could because I heard there was a break in time for the new computer. Late Friday when I got off of work something happened. I hit it at 30 and i felt the rear crouch down the front hop up and it pushed me back in my seat like it never has before. I was like holy ****! My 0-60 times are now all 6.2 and thats with wheel spin. I got the HOT 93 octane tune, the bad thing is that gas is now 2.22 a gallon were I live but its worth it! Shifting on the trans is awesome. Not hard but not soft, and when it shift it pulls hard through the shift instead of falling on its face. The trans now doesnt slip when it shifts. By far superior to any hand held tuner and just as easy to install. Allen is the man!
Now for some kills on that same Friday that the Nelson Tune was installed I was on my way to work. 2 lane highway passed a Dodge 4x4 Hemi Ram actually flew by him. Then around 1/4 mile later I see this *** come flying up on me going 100 mph. I see him coming up on me and I hit it going 65mph I see he is slowing down, then his pull came to a stop and now im pulling on him bad.
On Tuesday im looking for some fun and my way home from work. Im driving and see a dodge truck pull out from a Walmart parking lot. Im driving from a right lane hes in the left. He pulls up next to me going 30mph and i hit it. The rear end is fishtailing and im gone. 2 stoplights later we pull up along each other but its not a hemi its a cummings diesal with 2 young teenagers in it. I knew it was on. Light turns green and I had then by probley 15 lengths maybe more. It was bone stock. Then I slowed down to 70 and gave them a chance there and I still pulled on him. We pulled up a couple lights later and he told me my exhasut sounded good and my truck was fast. I said thanks and that was it.
Then the best for last. This past Friday on my way to work I see this quad cab 4x4 hemi pull out behind me. He had the SRT 10 hood and wing on the back but there was the hemi stickers and all the add on crap. I see him flying up on me and when he get next to me we both gun it. I instantly started pulling. Then I let off for a upcoming stoplight. He looks over and laughs at me and shakes his head like my truck cant run with his.
WTF. Then from the light I hit it from 30 and hes behind me and does nothing. I get over the left lane becasue it merged to 1 lane of traffic. then about 3 lights later I let him get in front of me. He punches it then im running on the back of his *** to about 70. By now I think he knows my truck is a little faster . Then he punches it again now from 70 and I let him go about 3 lenghts this time then I hit it and instantly gaining on him and he knows it. He gets so pissed off he passes someone in a turn lane and im done with this *** clown. probley a DTW member. The bad thing for him is he had a business written on the side of his truck so im really going to put it to him the next time I see him. Or I might just call him up and see if he wants to line em up from a stop since his truck is so badass
