I have been toying with the idea of trading my truck for an 05 6spd GTO. I had traded an 02 Z06 for my Denali, and I just want speed again. I was offered pay off on my truck ($21,500) and could get into the GTO for $500 over invoice. Roughly $630/month vs the $861/month I pay now. Thing is I only have 20 months left of paying on my Denali, and it would be mine. That is the thing that has me leaning towards just keeping the truck and getting a car when my truck is paid for...what are your thoughts? Ride the truck loan out and have a truck and a car in a few years..or go right for the GTO/lower payment....

You think it would cheaper to trade for the car now. But, you'll have to pay interest again. So, I would either sell the truck out right or wait intill it is paid for.

The local dealer here has a black automatic...just passed through and they now have a red 6speed. I made my decision though, it would be stupid to trade for it. I am going to just wait till the truck is paid for, even though the payments suck. It'd be a stupid trade. Those GTOs are sweet though..

Either wait and payoff the truck you only have 20 months left. Plus you only owe 21k on it. Or sell the truck out right and put the money down from equity you have on that truck becuase retail is about 26-27k. Either way you go can help you. But Good luck on your desicion.

Do what your gut instincts tell you to do man, you only live once, and if you die tomorrow, you'd have never enjoyed that GTO. We just had a guy on our site to trade his bee on a new GTO, he is in goat heaven as we speak, and seems to love it so far.
