Default Grudge match... Predict the outcome

Here's the set-up: a friend that owns the local truck shop has an 05 silvy 1500 ECSB 5.3 2wd, all stock except for mp112 @7lbs and corresponding handheld download. He has poked at me a few times about having a slow Denali, which got me thinking about poking back.. So-

above mentioned truck

vs

my 02 SD (AWD & 4.11s) with Gibson CB, Volant CAI, vette servo, Stock tune, and 100hp wet shot(not spraying thru the shifts)

I'm still not sure whether a dig would be best for me or him (I'm heavy and I'm sure he is going to have traction issues) and I'm leaning towards him getting me on the big end but thought I would ask for general concensus.

Should be a good race. From a dig you should beat him, from a roll he should get you. If I were to guess.

You say he's all stock. So I'm assuming 3.73's and stock tires. That plus the sc I'd say he has a decent amount of traction issues. Race him from a dig. AWD and your 4.11's should give you a nice advantage. Spray the **** out of him. I don't know if I'd race him from a roll though.

haha

Yeah, I had figured he would pull on me from a roll. I don't really care if he pulls or not, hes a good friend that hooks me up on parts so its all good.. Just thought it would be a good fun race from a dig!

Still havent had had the chance to get him out in the truck yet..

Thanks for the replies!

Im thinking he takes you from a dig as well.

With a 150 shot it would be more interesting IMO.

eh, Im not that comfortable with throwing a 150 shot at it from a dig with 160k on the trans! Once I get the 80 all ready, Its on though!

IN an 8th form a stop, you got this. Now...a 1/4 he's gonna pull top on you.

2WD, so he could have factory 3.23 or 3.42 as well.
