I was out riding around tonight and was stopped at a red light when this guy in a Honda just slammed into me!! He was going about 40 mph and I was stopped. It slammed my head into the headrest but I think my neck is ok. I got out and the bumper is smashed down half way to the ground and it is pushed into the quarter panels. The left one is cracked but I'm not sure about the right until the bumper comes off. The tailgate is ok. It was raining and his excuse was his wipers suck. I will post a pic if someone will host it. Later he tried to say I stopped for no reason but it was a red light and I had been sitting there at least 10 seconds Anyone have any advice for me so I don't get screwed here? Thanks I am calling the insurance tomorrow and will post updates.

just hope u got all his information. So im guessing he wouldnt admit to it being his falt? well u should of got witnesses then it all would of been ok. but im pretty sure its never ur falt if u get rearended, no matter what

I don't know how it works over there in Texas, but here in Cali, if you get rear ended...it is their fault no matter what...he said you stopped for no reason? Doesn't ****** matter, he shouldn't have been following so close then!

I would always get a police report...
I don't know how he could talk himself out of that one...make sure you get a huge doctors bill too just for being an ******* about it.
I don't think you will have to worry about getting screwed here...just tell them what happened...you sat at the light...and BAM...end of story...he cant get out of that mess...what a bitch

If you got rearended its his fault regardless. Get an attorney and tell you run a huge bill. That is what adds value to you case.

 

Oh my god, damn ricers. If you have any legal troubles, hey I was in your passenger seat and it was his fault once I was at a friends house and his ******* room mate threaten to take a **** on my truck and when he did, it took three guys to get me off him. When I was done beating the **** out of him he had one tooth was missing and a broken nose. To get to the point he got me in trouble with the police and that was not fun . Regardless of what happend to me I'd do it again, and that's just pissin on my truck, if he did any physical damage, I would break him in half and it would be a closed coffin funeral.

Thanks for the help. His insurance just called and they're coming out here on a Saturday! That's good fast service. They said it was his fault and I'll get a rental and everything. Maybe I'll get a Hemi Dodge!! My back is pretty sore today so I will probably get it checked out Monday. It hit harder than I thought! You know that gap between the bed and the cab? Well the gap is still there, but you can see where it pushed the bed into the cab and dented it! I guess it hit hard enough to cause the frame to flex those 2 inches. Can anyone host a pic or 2 for a couple days so I can show you guys the damage? Thanks for the replies, I feel a little better now. Oh yeah, no tickets or police reports. They didn't think it was bad enough
