I was coming off one of the back country roads on my way home frmo work when I noticed an 03'+ Mustang pull out onto the same road right where it turns into 2 lanes.

I give chase and catch him at the next stop sign. Being in a 4x4 I don't think he really noticed me till I came almost sliding to a halt at the stop sign next to him just as he was oulling away. He nailed it but was already about 1.5 car lenths ahead of me and halfway through the intersection before I had finished my stop and could nail it. I imediately gained my half car length back and we sat with a 1 car gap between us for a bit then I hit second and the gap increased. He grabbed a mean 3rd? and pulled ahead a lil bit and ever so slowly pulled ahead. We got up to about 100mph before we had to shut down and he had me by about 3 cars at most. At this point I am really regretting not getting the nitrous hooked up sooner or at least catching him from a dead stop so my converter could work for me.

I pull up to him at the next stop sign and him and his buddy are laughing and look over and were like "hey, whats up". I couldn't help but laugh also and told em at first I thought it was a "6" and was gonna kill it, then you nailed it and I was like "F^&*" it's a GT! We all laughed and went our seperate ways.

Guess I'll be working on installing the nitrous today and dreaming about my 6.0L
