first off I have to say this is my first loss to a 4.8. I didnt even stand a chance to this truck. The stink of the whole thing is that is was bone stock. I was sitting in the truck at a light just minding my own business when this red rcsb 4.8 pulls up beside me. It was some punk looking kid with his stereo cranked up real loud. He turned and looked at me and gave me a knod so I gave a knod back. He threw a couple of revs and I threw one back. The light changed and we were off. I got the jump on him and stayed in front of him till about 25 to 30 mph. from there he just blew on by me like i was standing still. He hadabout 4 trucks on me so I just gave up. I hate losing to anything or anyone so it really made me wish I had my truck at the time. I was driving my buddy's new 4door ford f150 2x4 with a 4.6 in it. I have to say it drove nice but damn it was slow.

ohya btw, did this kid have "4.8" on his license plates. cuz the last time i checked, they made rcsb red chevys in 4.8 and 5.3?

 

I ran into the kid about 20 minutes later at the Bikes, Blues, and BBq biker ralley we had this weekend. He was very cool and after we started talking and I told him about this site and there were alot of fast 5.3 and 4.8's on this site. I told him about Mix's truck and silent1's and a few other guys on here. I told him about my truck and he had heard of it. There is not alot of LS1s modded around here so if you have something everyone knows about it. The reason we were in the ford is because it was a four door and we have some friends with us. There were about 10,000 harleys and crotch rockets in town for this. Jesse James was suppose to be here but I didnt get there in time to meet him.The ford, like i said was a very nice riding truck but i didnt like the way alot of it was set up. Like the window switches were to far back and other pitty things.
Matt- i told you not to punk out my truck like that man.
Hyperlite-I knew it was a 4.8 from the get-go because it sounded like a 5.3 with its ***** cut off.
