It Got Fricken Cold In Houston!
#1
Just wanted to share how it went from the upper 60's then all the way into the 40's within an hour between 8:30am-9:30am today!
That's abnormal for us. Were used to having Summer/ Fall temps almost all year round!
It's now in the upper 30's! With our humidity at 50% it feels like the upper 20's, then add the 20-30mph wind gusts! Yuk! It's just too damn cold!
I'm staying in! The dog can go walk himself!!!!!!
Try and keep warm guys!

Reading all this made me think of when my dad got back from Iraq. It was 90 degrees outside and he would have a jacket on and almost start shivering. He had gotten used to it being 115-120+.
Give a person enough time and they'll get used to the climate they're are in, or they'll just deal with it, but no matter how much you get used to the climate, when there's a sudden change (like going from mid 70's to the 30's) it's more than noticeable.
