Angry Got beat.......By a Lightning

Yep well the first race against one and it was chip and pullied. We took off at 30 and he lost traction giving me about a 6 truck lead. I had him until 85 or so then he caught up and passed me.

Time for a little TNT action

with that TNT you should be all right! I must be putting down some serious numbers if he lost traction at 30mph!

do you have the cam in already? or is that still pending?

i always say, loosing is just another reason to find another mod to put on.

My thoughts exactly. Get the nitrous on and go give it another go.

Yes the cam is in and I had him held off until 85 but it seemed like I hit the brake when it hit over drive. Nitrous and a shift kit is next.

ALSO I plan to use a MSD micro switch for arond 3000rpm activation and I have 3.42 gear but with a 29 in tire its more like a 3.63 should I also change the gear to a 4.11 or 3.90?

You definately need a stall and a set of gears. They will both help a lot when making gear changes by allowing rpm's to remain higher in the power band and allowing the engine to rev easier.

OR, if you want to compare apples to apples, get a blower.
