Default Got awful noise from air conditioning compressor(maybe) after spraying engine off.

I was thoroughly cleaning truck (wash/polish) so I moved it into the garage after spraying off engine where it sat for 2 days. I finally finished the coats of polish and decided to start it up and heard an irritating noise. I was thinking the belt idler pulley but figured out it was lower down. So it has to be the compressor. It sounds like something rusted up maybe. It's a metallic sound that varies with engine rpm. Not quite a sqeal. Any ideas if that is correct and maybe how to fix it? I sure would appreciate any help. Makes the truck sound like a POS. Help!

Yeah...works fine. I'm at a loss. You think the clutch might have some rust dust on it? Or something like that anyway.
